JTNP Juried Art Exhibition Awards Announced | read full press release
For the 4th year straight, 29 Palms Art Gallery will host the juried art exhibition for Joshua Tree National Park Council for the Arts. In recognition of a long-standing tradition between artists and the national parks, and specifically Joshua Tree’s impact on artists and visitors from around the globe, Joshua Tree National Park Council for the Arts created an annual Art Exposition in 2013 - a juried art exhibition and celebration featuring art inspired by or depicting the unique natural beauty or cultural history of Joshua Tree National Park.
Forty-nine artists' works have been selected for the honor of displaying their artwork in the Gallery for this juried art exhibition. Visit the gallery during open hours September 2 - October 2 to view the art that was selected. These elite artists' works were selected from 236 artwork images submitted by 92 artists from across California, the U.S., and British Columbia. Artwork ranges from oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, mixed media and photography, to ceramic, glass, and metal sculpture.
